Rebel

You start out innocent enough but when things get rough I just give up.

Just go with the flow follow the crowd.

Do what the world says is right, where clothes that are too tight, get drunk or high cause, you don’t want to look shy.

The world says to go on a diet, dare not start a riot.

They say I have to look cool, but I don’t feel like that sitting by the pool all I feel is shame and I blame everyone but myself.

I say they judge me when really deep inside I just want someone, ANYONE to love me.

I must take the wide path or insue the world’s rath,

But.. I remember something… Something someone said about another path… a road less traveled by?

Could there really be more than I live and I die?

Could this be the road that my soul is longing to go?

Could this be the road that the Son of God paved himself?!

With his very life he laid down this road for me!

For ME!

He, loves, me!

Yes this narrow path is harder, but sometimes you just have to lay down some lines of where you will STOP!

No more following the crowd because I am proud that God made me to serve him!

I WILL start a riot against what is wrong! I WILL proclaim his name out loud!

No more fighting against his love! Instead I will embrace it!

“The Creator of the Universe made us to be his! We don’t have to follow the world blindly!” I Will yell!

Because against the WORLD… I will Rebel.
