Rebel To Hell
Glowing crimson heat
Delicate, strong,
Beautiful
Stare
Into flame
I contemplate again
Move toward it
Tear falls
Wimper
Gun
Against back
Not this time
Move toward it
They took
Everything
Son,
Wife, home
It's all gone
The gun butt
Hits me
Step
Pain
Delicate, strong
Glowing crimson heat
They can't succeed
I burn
Scream
Tear
From eye
Almost evaporates instantly
Bodies, rotting flesh
My son’s
Body
Dead
I failed
But at least
They didn’t
Kill
Me
Not today
Not ever again.
