Rebirth
Rain begins to fall, minute plastic bags filled with hope and gravity
They come in contact with the patient earth
The drops separate, clinging to the prospect of rebirth
The dew drops of spring
Pristine globes shining with depth, cradled by the fuzzy spring leaves
Even sprouts have a mother-like instinct
The crystal stream eases into the healthy pores along the face, feeding it, nourishing it
The stem reaches for the sky, with only one desire
Until one day it realizes its offspring will surpass her and must relinquish her dream
It passes down love in the form of a seed
While the old plant drowns and decomposes, allowing its child to rise in the moist soil
It finally breaks the surface, absorbing the rays of sunlight and scent of pollen
It will soon learn to know its life is a cycle
Rain begins to fall, minute plastic bags filled with hope and gravity
