Reborn

Location

The simple things in life

taken for granted

sorrows and pain

haunt the past

Every creed has

their horrors

The submerged

fact that there was sin

The invasion of life

The crop of bloodshed

The imprisonment of creeds

Struggle

Bound in chains

African people

Gased and burned

Witches of belief

Guns and ships

Americans with whips

Tethered and enslaved

Natives take the hit

To forget

the past of horrors

To strive

for new life

Equal

are you?

Peace

has it left?

Turmoil

of blood

Twist

of fate

Believe

in a new

Remember

the pain

Reborn

with new meaning

Creation

New life
