The Rebounding Theory

I wonder what its like for a guy to strike out To finish the night with haze and doubt What is the attraction if not physical With these cold hearted whymsicals What it feels like for them When the hem of a skirt No matter how short Is attached to a girl so full of herself I wonder if they want to give up If two or three or four is the limit To the horrible torment Of an undying sentiment I wonder if men will ever give up Or if ten years down the road Their plans might actually work Their hands will touch sky Their eyes Our demise I wonder if the desolate will ever Sever the walls of the desperate I wonder if tonight He'll be the one to turn off my light ...
