The Recipient
I see him,
We make eye contact
He brings his hand up
Begins to give it a shake,
He starts to wave
I watch as he does this,
I smile
Tuck my hair behind my ear
Then begin to do the same,
Putting my hand in the air
Arm bent ready to motion,
He is walking
Slowly towards me
I take a step
He is close,
Even closer,
But wait,
He is not looking anymore
He is closer still
I turn slightly
I see her,
The one,
The recipient.
