Reconstruction by Destruction

Behind these eyes lies a sickness. It hurts her heart and skews her mind. She doesn’t know who she is half of the time. Her soul is stolen from seven months of being bullied. She’s forgotten how to appreciate life. She can’t look for the good things or do the right. HE took away something she cannot take back HE took her self-esteem which to this day she still lacks HE took her smile and gave her tears HE took her innocence and replaced it with fear. She is a new person now but one that has trust She has realized this pain isn’t enough. Yes this hurts but she knows she’s better than this. She’s better than some messed up, lonely, dark hearted, soulless kid. She will rise above the struggles and deal with the pain. She will do the strongest thing. She is changing her life for the better. She decided to forgive him. This at took all her might. But she learned that sometimes you got to let go of all those horrified feelings And replace them with positive ones Forgiving those who hurt you is the most courageous thing a person can do.
