Blue and green are the colors I see.
I wonder what they see when they look at me?

Words from my mouth are what they hear.
What I’ve done has caused them fear.

My intentions, although pure, they have seen through.
It leaves them raw, it leaves them blue.

My heart skips, hops, flutters, and breaks.
Why can’t I shake my chemical bake?

On the brink of self-destruction.
Blue and green are the colors I see.

Resurrection, redemption, restoration, and deliverance.
Blue and green are the colors I see.

At last I have awakened, I’m able to see.
Blue and green, they’re the future I see.
