red

when I go home, I get bruises in the shapes of words and the colors of red. crying won't fix anything, so I recite you.

matthew has red hair.

matthew only uses cherry chapstick.

matthew's cheeks get red when he's happy.

matthew's cherry chapstick makes his lips red.

matthew has red boxer shorts, but I like the teal ones best, because they match my eyes

and red earbuds.

maybe you'll love me,

if i'm red too
