RED
I wake up with an itch.
An itch only a blade can scratch.
Fiddling with the metal in my hand turning them blue.
Hesitation stops me.
But only for a second.
But then I spiral.
The loop restarting.
Soon my whole body's covered in red.
it seems I cry red.
my vision turns red.
Every night turns into a blood moon,
even the stars are red
the night is stained with red
each a different shade but always red
soon I am scared i will drown in my sorrows of red
Puddles of red
Nothing but red
I try to claw my way out
Then realize i am only clawing at my own flesh
I try to scream
But only spit red
the sadness in my soul yearning to let It out. that cold touch to my flesh
the deep cuts get filled in with red resurrecting my sins remembering my regrets
crimson and rose rises
soon i fall
Darkening my sleeves to red
My sheets to red
And soon enough again like always everything turns red.
