Red

On the outside, I am red

Daring and lively

Like a spark jumping from a flame

Burning

Passionate about what I love

But underneath, deep inside

I am pale blue

Like a cold winter night

Shivering

Alone, looking for my future

What people see; who I am

I am neither

Because I’m both.
