This story begins with "Once upon a time.."

With a story from our memories that was coated with lies

The story begins with a jealous queen

Filled with envy and desire to kill a helpless teen

An innocent child with the beauty within

An innocent girl with the snow white skin

She was laced with fear, contaminated by dread

So away from the twisted queen she fled

She reached a house with seven men

They reached out to her and called her a friend

But they were filled with greed so they worked with the queen

Who promised them gold that they only saw in their dreams

They told the queen where the child stayed

Soon the disguised queen came to realize a trade

An apple for a life; poison for beauty

As the girl collapsed she cackled in glee

To conceal the child's beauty and last chance at life

She stabbed the body seven times with a knife

She was about to leave the house with a twisted grin

Before she was surprised by a wandering prince

Upon seeing the body he called over his men

And a battle broke out between all of them

It ended with blood and all of them dead

The child and the prince never got wed

The men never got their expensive prize

The queen died in her hideous disguise

And the poor child, once living--now dead

Now had skin drenched in red
