Red Balloon

Dear Red Balloon,

Just out of reach

The faster I run

The futher you are

When I'm close enough

to grasp your string

you POP

but I'm not sad

I've been without you

for so long

I've forgotten

what I had

I am a singer-songwriter. I like to write poetry, but poems rarely fit into music very well so I think I am going to post the poems I write here.
