Red Eyes in the Mirror
The imposter that walks the face of the Earth
Darkness reflected by the mirror
Only eyes that show the truth
Inside wanting to break free, so it could be seen
People see a smlie that isn't theirs,
The look of joy that has been stolen
The happiness that they know that they don't own.
Their light hidden by a lie
A mask of darkness and deceit
Should they remove the mask so they can be seen,
And reveal to the world who they really are?
They think they know who the mask stands for,
But without the mask, do they really know?
They stand in the light but they are covered by shadows
The light does not burn away the darkness...
The darkness takes complete control of our life.
They try to see past our veil, but the only thing they can see is...
