Red Flag

Red Flag Be alert as it waves Don’t think twice, your life save It’s a warning, do not ignore That feeling deep down, hits right to the core Red flag is a sign to what’s coming soon Do not overlook it, or else you are doomed Haul ass; get out, as fast as you can He’s not who you think, He’s not that man When you met you thought he was different But it was a mask that he wore He a Dr. Jekyll Mr, Hyde… need I say more With time the truth tells, this you best believe He will fill your head with lies; it’s easy for him to deceive Take heed; listen to your inner voice because it will never fail Leave now before the switch, before he derails When you see that red flag consider it serious as cancer He once was suave just like your own privet dancer But soon enough, before you know it, the truth will unveil Question is will you hang around? Or will you run like Hell! I LEARNED TO RUN….RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK! Dolvas 4/28/13

I left my abusive boyfriend 2 weeks ago. It took me almost 3 months to get away from him. I ran as fast as could to the nearest Women's Shelter.
