Red Hair

Even more intense
than an adrenaline rush
are the arguments
that constantly make me blush.

Is my hair red,
or is it more an orange color?
The endless debates make me wish I were dead!
Do they really need to holler?

I know what color my hair is
for heaven's sake!
You'd think I was taking a pop quiz
or driving a car without brakes!

As life goes on,
I simply ignore their fuss
with a simple yon
and consider the extra attention a plus!
