Red Juliet

I sneak through the woods in the color of love

Await the visit from my chosen one

I let our love kindle under the shaded moon

The enemy of your enemy is your friend, and this Montague is the sweetest revenge

His honeyed words stroke my body’s curve

The night grows bright… we must depart

Sneaking back to a mansion that waits,

With a delightful secret under my hood of red.

Where Parents entrap me in a sea of neglect.

A Diarchy that rules this humble place, perched at the towers hundredths of feet away

I taunt with words of love

Oh how I despise you and with all this hate, I crave the scent, of my chosen one

The fateful day we were to elope our secret surfaced destroying my hopes

Enraged fathers murdered many a men and, mothers ran away from our disgrace.

Now banished I stand in the outskirts of town hearing rumors of the daughter that passed.

I took my revenge with this disgrace. But I lost the one I had grown to love.

Now I live in fear of the big bad wolf,

My father’s men that are sent in a chase.
