Red Lines

The tree inside the dream catcher I drew Tears smear the lines i made This tree came to mean more than i knew The image tells the story of hate A war that festered inside of me A war against myself My wrist grew red lines from these These visions of Hell Burning sensations in my heart Roaring waters in my soul The voices travel, travel far Seeping in at night, their volume grows Red lines leaking my pain My sorrow written on my arms In blood my portrait is framed My image tainted by razors worn The war dies down but still rages on
