Red & Pink

Hate cliches

Red and pink

Lovey dovey syrupy sweet

But because I love you...

My mind has changed

Crazy thing is, I'm not all the way sure what you did or said

Maybe it was in the way your fingertips danced across my body, pirouettes and plies

Maybe it was the honey in your voice when you spoke to me and murmured sweet nothings in my ear

Maybe it was beacuse your kisses tasted like the deathly saccharine of a Krispy Kreme donut

Maybe it was beacuse we stayed up until 4 AM discussing the greatest debate in hip hop history: Tupac or Biggie?

Maybe it was because you always knew what to say

Maybe it was because you knew how to make me laugh and kept a smile on my face

Maybe it was because you truly let me in and allowed me to know and love you

Maybe it was because I let my guard down and let you love me

You showed me that love is endless and boundless

Hate cliches

Red and pink

Lovey dovey syrupy sweet

But because I love you...

My mind has changed
