Red riding hood
Once upon a time
On the trail in the wood
There was a little girl
Who wore a little red hood
On her way to her grandmothers
The little girl had no care
She wasn’t aware of what was to beware
For there was a wolf who beat her to the cabin
Little red walked in and put down her basket
She saw red splatter along the walls
Little knew that something had gone terribly wrong
She heard a voice “Hello” and grabbed grandma’s axe
She walked in the room where her grandmother usually sits
It was dimly lighted and the air was motionless
Little red saw the huge grin and he giant paws
She saw the fur and took immediate action
With a swift motion she swung the hatchet
The blade made its way through the wolf’s evil grin
She stood with her now blood splattered little red hood
Her eyes were widened
Her heart was pounding
Her muscles were stiff
And her teeth her chattering
The wolf that she had slain wasn’t what she thought
The hatchet had made it visible
Her grandma was the wolf mask and gloves
Little red had made the mistake
She ran out the house without calling the police
Never again did they see little red
Especially her poor grandmother
With the hatchet stuck in her head
