Red Shoes

I have busted free,
From the expectations of this humanity,
They hold I no more,
I race out of the shell,
I was given,
With just a simple pull, clamp,
And a releasing without intake of their precious O2.
I slip away and enjoy
A sleep of a lifetime,
After I fall asleep some cry,
And others ask why,
If I could respond I would
Mutter I wish I was home,
In this mimic of Dorothy,
I lacked my Red Shoes.
