Redefine Me

Lay the foundation and pavement for me

To pave for my future

The future of my children

And grandchildren

I will carry the legacy of my ancestors

For they weren’t given the same opportunities as me

I will set an example for children in my community

For our endeavors should not shape the quality of our characters

But the pavements and foundations for our past, present, and future.
