Redefining "Human"

What should be changed is what has happened for a thousand years-

history till now has caused a bloody trail of tears;

bullying, separateness, and discrimination-

what people are losing is their determination.

The world we seek is the Utopia we cannot have

because the world is separate - it's two seperate halves.

The half we have is the diverse world of friendliness

our Dystopia rejects our differences, they call that separteness.

We see people holding hands of different colored hands

and relationships bonding with invisible arm bands.

But we hear words spoken out "Go Back to Your Country"

with words like that make our lives preserve in contrary

to the paradise we seek just to be equal,

and hopes it'll change in life's next sequel.

What should be present should be a fixed society-

we don't want to repeat history and fall into calamity.

Just take a look at what we can see, reality-

the respect of others, shouldn't that be first priority?

People of the society can tell the differences of colors

if everyone was color blind, can we all be sisters and brothers?

In being color blind, would we throw away our differences

and come close together to destroy these differences?

What should be changed is how we define people

let's stop with the evil - make things peaceful, togetherness legal.

Let's redefine ourselves and stop putting labels on each other,

and stop with the ways we see one another with skin color.

Let's have society stay together as a union-

see one another as another human.
