Redemption
Life as a whole has got me under
Being attacked left and right
The devil tries to keep me under
I pray every day to be freed from this hell
But it seems as if sometimes I am my own God
Not knowing what to do next I seek
For refuge to help settle the pain
Women, drugs and alcohol all seem to be pleasing to me
I don’t know where to start first
But yet they know where to start and a woman chose me
With a pipe in her hand
Her beauty was something of 666 but yet I threw down my seven
And I accepted her and her life style
And my knees began to heel
No bed, No house, No income
It was only a matter of time before it becomes my life
Still seeking an answer to an unknown question
I swim in the blood and sweat of my sins
This road has led me to a house on prospect
But with no success and a women lost in a grave of six feet
I continue to puff and find myself closer
To the devils plan
Others say they are dating with death
But I feel as is death has forced me into marriage
Lost in the darkness of the streets I find a new cure
A poison for the body known only as beer
Something I once called happy hour has gone far from being happy
To being a symbol of my depression
Having nothing but only my drink and my drug and my memory
Of the introduction of the female devil of my life
I wonder what has become of my life
No value, No purpose should I hit stop now
Get out! Get out! Get out!
Is a term that has become a part of my everyday vocabulary
No wear to go I wander the streets
In search for an answer to a question still unanswered
But this answer might have been found in an alley
A pistol lays on the wet ground starring
Asking me to hold hit close and caress her curves
The sky roars as rain falls down my eyes
The answer is only a pull away
I place the pistol on the side of my head
I close my eyes and hopes it will go fast
No life, No friends, No family
Nothing left to lose
I take one deep breath
POW!!!
I could not do it
But yet another trigger has been pulled
Lying at my feet I find my dealer
I see the a man in white who pulled the trigger
But yet a stare in shock and run away
As I run I find an old friend of mine
Church
It is time I stopped running and return back to him
I open the door and drop to him and put my seven back into my pocket
As these sixes cry out
My knees hurt again asking for deliverance and peace
Finally I have found peace and life can be mine once more again
