Redemption
Sunlight streaming through the face of dawn,
Thou hast seen no mistakes.
Contentness never passing from,
the weightless breaths of slumber.
Will grey and ash reveal themselves?
To fire of the later day?
Then tears concealed by gentle grace,
will start to creep from cheek to cheek,
from face to face.
Worries now misplaced in dust,
To hide the evils of the state,
to show the lies of care and strength,
To sheild the misery of the fate.
Destruction now subsiding in,
The falling of the sun,
Can see a tear of black and filth,
wreaking from the havoc.
Gazing from the sky would show
the eyes of fear and dread,
Just waiting with no more hope to cling,
to take their place in ice and fire.
How wondrous is the outstretched hand,
Now reching through the night,
To find a soul with no more breaths,
To bring it to the light.
