Redemption or ...
Redemption or survival
Jude 10
10 But these men do not understand the things they slander,
and they are being destroyed by the very things that,
like irrational animals, they instinctively comprehend.
Search for recognition in the river of survival
Plunging straight ahead with few goals in mind
In a boat called “satisfaction”, defeating every rival
Always getting wet by the tears of folks I grind
My destiny is happiness – my hunger for the top
Working my way upstream never giving up
Satisfied with loneliness as the boat never stops
And through every means my selfish is my grub
The boat is almost empty – my family went overboard
All my values left downstream with no one left to help
How did I get here anyhow? How did I get so bored?
Why do I hear all the screams of folks just like myself?
My conscience I sold long ago – the price of it I wasted
The only feeling left is to feel sorry for myself
I want you to know that the life I pasted
Was not bereft till I blamed others for my spell
Others made me do it – they made me what I am
It was my environment that brought me down to this
Now I cannot move it I’m really in a jam
So I will just pretend the worthiness of it
Ephesians 5:11-13 New English Translation (NET Bible)
11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 For the things they do in secret are shameful even to mention.
13 But all things being exposed by the light are made evident.
What if in a few days this issue is not important
It is so easy to forget just like forgetting names
Who cares anyhow of thought and their impotence
If you catch them in a net and dump them on a train
Let them go wherever they will. Just don’t go with them
They’ll have their existence somewhere in the unknown
Experience the thrill that befalls just a very few men
As do grudges for an instance and bitterness to the bones
A beautiful new nature like a fresh new garden
New plants sprouting up with flowers galore
Planted by the Master after a complete pardon
Prepared and taken care off. What am I waiting for?
