A Redirected Path

Wed, 11/08/2017 - 00:50 -- Ckell

Changing yourself, just to better yourself, just to destroy yourself in the end.

Now, your strugging to find the beginning.

But, where did you begin?

Was this the good life we dreamed of or were we always on a destructive path?

On a downward spiral looking up seeing how long this would last...

Wondering, pondering, and waiting for someone to pull us out,

Pull us out of the hole we dug for ourselves, yet we doubt

Because hoping for something hurts more when it doesn't come

Than finding something we didn't expect knowing that it was the one.

The one thing that we needed to survive, to thrive, to live this life.

I found that one thing,

His name is Jesus

And He made me alright!

Better than I've ever been I'd like to say.

Try him, know him, you'll never have a grey day.

His mercy endures forever,

His grace abounds,

His love knows no end and it never brings me down.

He's better than any high,

Higher than any low,

Unlike anything I've ever found.

But, don't be surprised when you get stabbed in the back,

Get persecuted or find yourself under attack.

For his name's sake, we do this all the day long

Never giving up until He comes back to put to death all of our wrong.

Our sins, you know, they keep us bound,

God is the only one who can set us free.

When I accepted Jesus into my life,

That's exactly what he did for me.

He gave me the keys to His kingdom as he broke the chains right off of me.

Now, I can ay I'm free at last never going back to the old me.

So, I beg you to make the best decision of your life.

DO IT TODAY!

Find Him and know Him for yourself,

He is the only way.
