Rediscovering

Finding a playmate in a flower, tree, sunlight

Showering the sky with love for the rain that pours over

Toes, into cupped

Hands

Sensation taking precedence over--

what’s Precedence?

...hesitation.

Skewed priorities centered around

Me

Rather than us

Flowers, trees, sunlight

All of us

Suppression--

what’s Suppression?

...of bliss, curiosity, appreciation...

In favor of

Nothing.

Walking backwards

                         (maybe skipping)

Cupping my hands

Making an effort

To relearn how to ask the flower, tree, sunlight

And Myself

To play
