Refined
I look in the mirror
and am like, "God help me."
I'm full of fear
and I wanna be free so badly.
I wrestle with strength.
It beats me down.
All I wanna do, is just shut down.
I question myself all the time.
Am I good enough for You
or am I just blind?
I need to read Your book,
for I know it holds the truth.
It it probably the playbook
for my inner truth.
You say do not fear,
for I am always with you.
God please appear
and show me what's true.
Give me strength to stand.
For I am very weak.
Show me the upper hand
so I can make it through the week.
Give me the mind
to look deep down inside
to see that I've been refined
to make a change worldwide.
