Reflecting

Reflecting, Refracting Thoughts stream through my mind Actions hide my inner-workings The Past hurts, but I'm playing pretend in the Present I remember, I remember, I remember But I won't Speak Up The Time for Justice has passed Now It's time for Forgiveness. Can I forgive? Reflecting, Refrain It's so hard to bite my tongue Shame, Pressure, Anger, and all the things I Never Said I thought My Mistakes were too great That It had been all my fault Maybe I Pushed too Hard Now, Looking back, I realize… I kept myself too Quiet. Reflecting, Repeat Looking back is like a Light Looking back is like a poison Looking back, Looking back, Look back What was I doing? Why didn't I? I should have…? I have to stop this song Time To Breathe, Time to Look Away, Time to Sing I am Strong, I am Beautiful, I am Kind Repeat until It is a Reality.
