Reflection

when i look in the mirror

i see my reflection

i've never liked my reflection

it looked like i was made to be a bad person

i thought i was a bad person

i wonder how i even have my friends and my boyfriend

when i listen to my friends

i hear positive things

not only about them

but also about me

i realize my real friends and my boyfriend

they don't think about the bad thing about me

they think of the good things about me

no. i don't understand it

but when i think about it

i think it's because they understand me

when i remember the positive things they said about me

i look in the mirror once mor

i see it

i see my reflection

and i see why they say positive things about me

they see me

they see who i am

and the person i try to be
