Reflection

Gazing down beneath,

Hidden tales of old.

Disappearing treasures,

Shadows that aren't told.

Once a pebble falls

Blurred and hazy days.

Ripple in the cold

Distorts my steady gaze.

Carefully and softly,

all is still again.

Through my days and troubles,

God will be my bane.
