Reflection
In the mirror, I see a reflection
But is it the real me or what I used to be?
I see my face but something else lies underneath
False smiles shadowing hidden fears
Corrupt laughter masking heavy tears
Fabricated happiness to hide what dies inside
If I break the mirror, will anything change?
Distort the very thing I have become?
Or am I destined to live a lie
Misleading others from the truth
Hurting the ones I hold dear
In the mirror I see a reflection
But that reflection is not me
