reflection
Learning the basics of anything
Was never the problem.
Instead, delving deeper
Trying to add layer by
Layer. That’s what got me stuck.
Being in a rut about what I could do,
Yelling at myself without any strategic point of view
But settling down and just
Reading.
It helped clear my mind from anything else.
Fixating on the rhyme and reason,
Even without completion it set me back on track.
A fresh point of view for something that seemed so
Wack.
Don’t do it very often anymore.
Days filled with endless, endless toll.
But when I get that chance,
A chance to get back.
I snatch it up as quick as I can,
And I don’t hold back on just
Reading.
