Reflection

You’ve told me to look in the mirror, so I can see the reflection of myself.  I place my hand on the glass to only want to grab the person looking in a hug. I see the pain of hurt and unloved still floating around. The feeling of having that little girl abandoned is unbearable. Knowing the feeling of hurt rejection and neglect she doesn’t fail to help others before herself.  But as she tumbled to her last strength of money kindness and love she wants to give no more. Being selfish wasn’t her quality and treating others the way she was treated wasn’t ever how she wanted to be.  But she feels all the footsteps people have walked on her body and she is tired of being known to be used and abused. It’s time for that reflection you told her to look at to make change.
