Reflection
It is my time to reflect
On the good days and the bad,
I know I have lived my life with no regrets,
And I’ve learned there’s no reason to stay mad.
Everything that’s happened in my life I have learned from,
And the people I have met taught me new things.
Don’t let negative things stick out like a sore thumb,
No matter how hard it may sting.
Not many people know me well enough to acknowledge,
My past living experiences have been shaky,
But I don’t let what has happened to me keep me from things such as college.
I have become a stronger person from every experience, and far from flaky.
I stand here now, reflecting on my life
Wondering where my next chapter will take me,
Hopefully I’ll have qualities to make a good wife,
If not, I shall have my cats and afternoon tea.
