Reflection
A young lady came home from school;
She had a bad day, and felt like nobody cared.
She walked in front of her mirror and said,
"Mirror, Mirror on the Wall,
Who's The Saddest Girl Of All?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this isn't true.
For the child down the street
Doesn't have a bite to eat."
"Well, Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Who’s the maddest girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this isn't true,
For the mom and dad on the corner
Had an argument and they both now have met the coroner"
"Well, Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Who's the ugliest girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this isn't true.
For God made all in his image of love and might,
Therefore ugliness isn't in his sight."
"Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Who's the most unlucky girl off all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this isn't true,
For the baby down the hall
Was thrown into a wall."
"Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Who's the loneliest girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this isn't true,
For the widow the age of 72
Lost the only one she would talk to."
The young lady fell ill with a simple cold:
"Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Who's the sickest girl of all? "
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this is not true,
For the teenager strung on meth
Does not know she's close to death."
"Mirror, Mirror, on the wall
Who's the most challenged girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this. Isn't true,
For the lady next door
Is alone and poor."
"Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Who is the most selfish girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
yes, my dear, this is true.
For you feel you experience problems beyond belief,
But others are only seeking relief."
Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Who's the most blessed one of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
Yes, my dear, this is true,
For you recognized your mistake
And now it's as if you're awake"
Mirror, Mirror on the wall
Who's the luckiest girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
But, my dear, this isn't true
For luck does not exist,
For miracles top that list."
One week later she died in a wreck.
"Mirror, Mirror on Heaven's wall,
Who's the happiest girl of all?"
"I know you expect the answer to be you,
And yes, my dear, this is true.
For you did what was right,
And now you have entered through Heaven's light.
