Reflection

To live with this thing inside of me

Wishin it would just leave

But I can’t breathe

Without it beat-ing

But maybe that’s a good thing

Cause life is never something I’ll be missing

Reflecting

On all that’s happening

It’s so depressing

The fact that I’m perfecting

On pretending

That everything

Is progressing
