Reflection
Again, the mirror on the wall
torments me. “You are wrong.
You have no reason to live.
Leave and go away!”
It says to me, “If you are what you say you are,
why do you want to look artificial?
why do you try to look virtual?
why do you look for more attention, even if you have enough?
Beautiful,
expensive excessive accessories make you.
Naked you feel without these temptations,
but to feel you must be naked from it.”
I close my eyes, inhale and exhale...
I open and see the fairest of them all.
I see myself. I see me.
I am me.
