Reflection

He touches her face,

fingers,

brushing slowly down her granite cheeks.

Her eyes, emerald green,

dripping,

deep pools of blue down her cold chin.

His forearm,

sitting,

atop her breast and shoulder.

She cries,

sobbing,

she opens her eyes.

She is alone,

isolated,

her wrists the pools.

Instead of blue it's red,

blood.

The green is now pink,

pale.

Her arm shows,

dripping.

She's completely alone.
