Reflection of My Eyes

My empty eyes reflect you
Removing every flaw they see
It's something only I can do
This molding of reality

Everyone becomes addicted
And thinks they fall in love with me
I try to tell them that I'm sick
But love is blind to my disease

Eventually, they saw their mistake
Addiction was replaced with hate
And everyone who walked away
Broke the heart I let them take

Alone for years, I lost the light
And then, one day, I tried to die
But she was there, she saved my life
The girl whose eyes were just like mine

The pain is still behind my eyes
The flaws I see, I still remove
But even if I were to try
There are no flaws to take from you
