Reflection of My Parents
When I was younger, I believed that my parents were all knowing examples of perfection. Everything that they did was correct and unquestionable. As I got older, I began to look at my parent's lives more objectively and realized that they were once children like me. They had made their own mistakes then and they still make mistakes now. They have more life experience, but they are only human. As much as I love and idolize my parents, I now realize that in the grand scheme of the world, they are only two of millions working through life and trying to find their place in the world.
