Reflection Song

Music notes

Play in my head

Sparking laughs, tears and shame.

The girl I used to be

Lost along the way.

Tunnels and mazes

Hide her pain.

Where is she?

When will she come back?

Will she be better?

Will she be the same?

So much time has passed

In the lonesome dark.

I just hope she’s okay.

Music notes once again

Play a sad melody in my head

Feels like yesterday

When I saw her face

The girl I used to be

Lost along the way.

Tunnels and mazes

Hide her pain.

Where is she?

When will she come back?

Will she be better?

Will she be the same?

So much time has passed

In the lonesome dark.

I just hope she’s okay.

Tears of pain

Fall again

When I see my face

The girl I used to be

Stands before me today

My head has changed her

She is not the same

Tunnels and mazes

Hide her pain.

She is here

She has come again

But she is far worse

Than yesterday

So much time has passed

In the lonesome dark.

I’m afraid she’s not okay.
