Reflection In the water

Are you lost at sea?

Were you here before?

Am I a distraction?

Please continue furthermore...

I must find it

The pondering orb that is floating

It's in the past I must assume

But as I put into perspective

The small ring in the distance

Is no longer distrtuctive

But I again ask and ask

for the answers I seek

For all that I know

You show up unexpectedly

Please tell me something I must know

Endless sleep and rising snow

I am buried and buried

In my own thought of sorrow

My  thoughts come back to me

As if there is no tomorrow

The only reflection I see

is my thoughts in the water

As I peer over the boat and see

Clouds and pure sky above me

Nothing more but my self and I

So please tell me...

Why is there a whisper behind me?

But I cannot see it...

Perhaps a mirror could give me the same understanding

But again...

The whisper is something I cannot control

As the raging saddness

Is something I unintentionally unfold

But it is only I, I see

In the reflection in the water

I know you are here

No need to remind me...

I know you need to heal

But please allow me

To only see my reflection in the water

It is the only way you and I both

Can leave this melancholy state of mind

Is if you let me be

And focus on something

that will later be worth the find
