Reflections from a Glistening Blade

Do you see what I see?
The boy in the mirror
His life is a smile
But it is false, fake, and broken
He turns to the left
His reflection again
This time from a razor
As he cuts again
He turns the other direction
Another blade he sees
But this one bigger than the other
He contemplates what he should be

Do you see what he sees?
The boy in the blade
His tears are the truth
They're real, there, and flowing southward
He looks up at the ceiling
Envying the blankness
The tears flow down further
The direction he turns next
He stares straight at himself
But this one sadder than he remembers
And he knows what he must do
The blood from his wrist glides down his arm
Dripping to the floor
He grips the knife with his bloodied hand too
Pointed towards himself

Hark! a thrust
And hark! he pulls out
He inspects the bloodied blade
He crumples to the ground
His reflection lost from the blade
His life follows suit
