Reflections in the River

I look up at the stars and i see them all laughing at me,

I turn my head to the moon and it shines on everything but me.

The wind smacks me in the face then glides away so peacefully,

reflection in the river, why am i so ugly?

I walk down the road and trip on the stones,

I bleed on the highway and no I cant go home.

Because I live with my enemies who are heartless and cold.

Reflection in the river...help me.

I cant go on like this anymore because I am tired of crying,

maybe the bridge at the end of the river will stop this painful fighting.

Maybe it will relinquish my broken heart of all its useful trying,

reflection in the river, are you aware that I am dying?
