Reflective

Reflection was provided to me

through the words

i scattered on the page

a mirror where i cant see myself

but i know myself more clearly here

i see my faults

my flaws

the times when i failed

when i hurt you

i promise i didnt mean to

i see all this in the words i write

the anger i pour forth

an infection being drained

from my brain

i keep them hidden

from your eyes

the hurt will never mar your face

i write as a diagnostic of the hurt inside

i write to draw it out of me

i write to leave it on the page
