Reflex
A reflex will save you
guard your body and soul
keep you intact
make sure you stay whole
A spasm will mean the difference
Between living and demise
Ensure your survival
Through the attacks and the lies
A split decision will
Determine what ensues
You strive through good decisions
But fail when you lose
This last chance in the world
Is meant to save you
Who you are, what you live for,
And help push you through
You may hate life
And all you endure
It may suck with no end
But you can always be sure
This will still try
Save your life, maybe
But you know it’s there
Can’t fight it, let it be
There’s only one possible change
To take away this lifeline
Something so simple and pure
Accept this blessing; say "its mine"
That blessing is a heart
On that with yours, aligns
The love of your life
No false horny crimes
The fake and deadly "loves"
Cannot hold true
You think their pleasure great
But they always screw you
The reflex gives up only
For the feeling you feel
If it’s willing to give your life, for them
You know it’s real
