Regeneration

relinquish my inner turmoil into the earth
sow a new me with the next harvest
give my tears back to the sea
carry away my pain with the tide
drown my demons, scream the names
who deserve the karma I can’t inflict
leave them in the wind
take them somewhere I’ll never worry about them again
I’ll decide what to do with what I have left
hopefully, only me
