Regret

Regret:

Words are hard to take back once said.

I speak before I think which is a bad habit of mine

for it lead me to a day I could never take back.

It all started with listening to music, it was me and my sister in the room.

She said she was going out, for she was of age,

but deep down I wish she would've stayed. She's like a bee

and home is the flower, she always leaves, but slowly returns.

This time I couldn't control what I said, we were talking

and I knew it was going to come out.

It burst out of course, those three simple words "I hate you",

and I saw her reaction and it brought me to tears.

The relationship was broken.
